Import Restrictions
Banknotes; currency notes; and securities payable to bearer may be sent only in registered shipments.
Prohibited Items
In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:
airline tickets, blank stock
animal and animal products
antiques
asbestos
furs
ivory
jewellery
knives
military equipment
precious metals and stones
pornography
second-hand clothing
weapons.

Cameroon requires a commercial invoice and a bill of lading for all imported goods. Shipping marks and numbers must match exactly those on the invoices and goods. Three copies of the invoice are necessary for surface shipments, while four copies are necessary for air shipments. All documents must be submitted within 48 hours of a shipments arrival.
For certain imports such as second-hand clothing, certificates of non-infestation are required. There is also a service fee for the importing of second hand vehicles.
