Import Restrictions

Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:

• bones and horns of animals
• genetically modified products
• historical artifacts
• medicines
• newspapers and books.
• plants and grain
• saccharine and similar products.

Prohibited Items

In addition to items considered non-mailable matter, the following are prohibited:

• absinthe-based liqueurs
• batteries
• currency
• drugs, non-prescription / prescription
• film, undeveloped
• furs
• gambling devices
• ivory
• jewelry
• knives
• lottery tickets
• liquor
• live animals
• matches
• obscene or immoral articles contrary to public order or morals
• plastic bags
• pornography
• soap and cosmetic products containing mercury
• x-rays.
